Business Edge began working on the branding project for Connecticut law firm Brody Wilkinson PC back in the summer of 2007. The project encompassed an entirely new look for their web site, new photos for their attorneys, a new logo and letterhead, and the installation of Business Edge's LawAdmin product so Brody Wilkinson could control all aspects of their web site's content.

Great photos make it easier to create a professional and unique law firm web design

Photographs were taken first at Brody's Southport Connecticut headquarters at 2507 Post Road in Southport Connecticut. Here is an example of the results our photographer achieved with the portraits, along with Business Edge's web design artists who conceived the layout of their bio page.

Brody Wilkinson PC represents individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations in Southport and Fairfield County and throughout Connecticut, so a sense of that locality was critical in their design. With that in mind, we utilized photographs of Southport Harbor scenes throughout the web design, giving their site less of a stodgy "law firm" look and more of a firm that is involved in and helping the community. Their tag line of "Guiding clients to a safe harbor" was the perfect complement to the Southport Harbor design theme.

Content Management
LawAdmin is a Business Edge product allowing both small and large law firms easy access to their web content. We've been creating Content management systems since 1996 and every single one of our law firm clients, after seeing our LawAdmin demo, decides to utilize our LawAdmin content management system. Why? Because after our web design is complete, you should be in complete control of your own site. Clients like Brody Wilkinson in Southport Connecticut publish and write quite often, so the ability to add and change textual information rapidly in today's high-tech legal climate is critical.
